Direct Links Transport is a social economy business and can only provide transport to not-for-profit community organisations, associations and groups who become an affiliated member.
The following priority groups are specifically targeted:
Persons with disabilities
Elderly people
Youth
Women
Carers etc.
Playgroups / after school clubs
Mother & Toddler groups
Youth groups
Luncheon clubs
Sports groups
Community groups
Church groups etc.
With a higher need for accessible transport Direct Links Transport will provide a solution that will create employment within the community, improve access to services and give improved opportunity to our identified target groups.
Direct Links Transport currently has at its disposal 4 buses, 3 of which are fully accessible for able bodied and disabled customers. All vehicles are available with a driver who is trained to the highest standard.
To ensure safe driving within the community Direct Links Transport is also a training agent and can provide Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MIDAS) Please see the training section for further information
